Lake Norman Family Photographer - {Portraits on the Lake}

Allison and Robert were two of the first people I met when Sergio and I moved to North Carolina...

Sergio and I were still just dating and had no children yet.  Allison and Sergio worked together at Cintas and Neeley and Sam where just tiny little things. As you can see a LOT has changed....

Six years ago Maggie Princess joined the family...
and 6 months after that my monkey Ellie arrived and they became close buddies just like their parents...
Robert, Allison, Neely, Sam and Maggie I love you guys!  I  and am so thrilled at how our friendship has grown over the past years and look forward to more decades to come!
Miss Sara (Neely's BFF) it was a pleasure to meet you!  You are absolutely Beautiful!

Charlotte Baby Photographer - {Andrew}

This past weekend I met with Amanda, Mike and three of my favorite little men for Baby Andrew's 9 month session.  He is one of my baby planners and I always look forward to my time with him and the family.  Despite the fact that we were just about melting on the North Carolina Summer Sun we had a blast as usual.  Thanks for another great session you guys!  I am already looking forward to his 1 year session in a few months!  :)

Lake Norman Newborn and Maternity Photographer - Mama's Three Men.

In April I posted this sneak peak of this absolutely stunning mommy's Maternity Session.  I was thrilled to receive her text a few days ago letting me know that her sweet baby boy had arrived.  I headed to their home the very next day for his Newborn Session.  Just 5 days old this little man was a dream to work with, waking just to eat and/or snuggle with mommy then zonking back out for me.  Juliette I am so exited to share these images of your beautiful family with you.  Congratulations sweetie! I hope you love your portraits as much as I do!  There are plenty more where these came from!  :)

Office Update - Pièce de résistance added!

I recently posted a few images of my office in progress and am excited to show my Pièce de résistance that my wonderful hubby has now mounted for me.  I found this old distressed window at The Depot @ Gibson Mall and selected some very special images of my sweet girls from our recent vintage session to display in the six panes.  I want to add a bit more clear paint to the frame so it is just a bit less distress but other than that I am pretty thrilled with how it turned out.  I am actually thinking of adding these to my new product guide.   My Desk has arrived and I love it as well as my Chair.  I will post more images soon as the pics below were taken before the chair arrived and I still have lots to hang on the wall!

My New Office - A work in progress...

Now that all the DancinKids Galleries are up, I have now shifted (some of) my focus to the home office.  Which is slowly (very slowly) coming around.  The Desk I ordered  is scheduled to arrive Friday and the The Brushed Oyster (clear) Office Chair should be here Monday.  I can't wait!
We are keeping Ellie's Old Captain's Bed in the room but want to make it look more couch like.  I am on the search for some oversized pillows to be the "back of the couch".

I finally found this Turquoise Piece at the new HomeGoods in Mooresville.  It will hold the fish tank once hubby cleans and moves it for me and the tv will be mounted on the wall.  I found this adorable bench at Lake Norman Antique Mall today.  It will double as a prop.  I can't wait to get to use it at a shoot! The Plate hanger will be used of course to display pictures and hung somewhere in the room.  I am thinking of putting a small (ultra low maintenance) tree in a big red pot where it is now!
My circle mirror will be hung above this cute bookshelve and my bare walls will soon be covered in Portraits! To the right are some items that I need to paint clear or red.  I need to balance out the plethora of turquoise.  I think I went just a tad overboard.  LOL

Huntersville Newborn Photographer - And then there were four!!!

I posted on my facebook page Friday morning about one of my forever families who just welcomed their second child.  I have know and been working with Derek and Julie since they were expecting their first baby (a beautiful little girl named Morgan) and I of course could not wait to meet their newest edition.  We did his newborn session at 9 days old and sweet baby Logan was an absolute dream to work with.  As long as he had his little belly full this tiny dude was as happy as can be.  The hardest part of our session was forcing myself to stop snuggling him so I could set him down to take his pictures.  LOL Derek, Julie and Morgan,  Congratulations on your sweet baby boy!  I am so happy for you!!!  Love you guys!  XOXO!

There  are portraits just like the next two images of Derek and Julie holding baby Morgan displayed in their home.  These will look great hanging next to them!

Proud Big sister, my sweet little Buddy Morgan!

Davidson Family Photographer - Meet Miss Maggie

Two years ago I stumbled upon an amazing organization that pairs children with special needs with photographers who are willing to volunteer their time so that these families can have some special memories of their little ones and their life together has a family.  I am so grateful to have found Inspiration through Art (formerly known as The littlest Hero Project) as I have had the privilege of meeting the most amazing families.  Most recently,  I met Miss Maggie, her mommy, daddy, big brother and big sister.  We had a great time!  S Family it was such a pleasure to meet you!  I hope that you enjoy your sneak preview!
XOXO
