On Set Photography - Dead Giveaway

SO thrilled to have been a part of the filming of #DeadGiveaway this past weekend with Lucky Mangione, John Brusco, Christian Sales, Devin Walker, Caroline Cox, Katie Morgan and an army of amazingly talented people in our cast and crew (including my own two monkeys)! So far I have narrowed down greater the 3,000 images to my favorite 700 or so and am so excited to finally share a few. Did I mention how much I enjoyed working with this cast and crew?

There Could Be Nothing After This - BTS Set Photographer Charlotte

Ellie and Sammi were extras this weekend in "There Could Be Nothing After This" a very intense short film directed by Andrew Huggins for the 100 Words Film Festival. Ellie and I were excited to work with some of our friends from Four Pies and Sammi was over the moon with her very 1st opportunity to be on set. It was a short 3 page film but we shot in three locations throughout the Charlotte area.  It was so nice to meet some new faces also!  I can not wait to see the finished project!  Here are just a few images (of many many many) from our day.

Upcoming Movies to check out - SouthEast Set Photographer

I have had the pleasure over the past year or so to be involved as the set photographer during the making of several films.  I LOVED getting to be involved in this and especially to have been able to work with some very awesome people.  I was even charged with the very fun task of creating promotional posters for a few of the films which I really loved getting to do!

The first one I worked on was "Four Pies" - a very emotional short film about a woman who returns home to her family after the loss of her mother.  This was also my daughter Ellie's 1st film.  She played the young version of Catherine, the main character in flashbacks to her childhood.  Four Pies has been extremely well received and has been accepted and even won at many national AND International film festivals  Check out the facebook page HERE and watch the film HERE.

Quite the contrast to "Four Pies" was the delightful short film "Six Foot Scoundrel" which was created for the 100 word film festival in Charlotte.  I was so afraid that I would ruin the scene several times as I wanted to laugh out loud so badly.  Catherine Trail and Vanessa Ore were absolutely hysterical!  If you want to laugh you HAVE to check it out!  You can view the film HERE.
I didn't do the posted for this one but this shot is too funny not to share...

Switching up genres once again I did some still photography for "Corner of Ghost and Bartlett Road" the second film that Ellie acted in.  This film is currently in post-preduction and I can not wait to see it!

Most recently I was on set with the 4PP crew as they filmed a teaser for their very first Full length Feature.  "Calm Before" is a gritty and intense story of betrayal and intrigue...

Filming is slated to begin Winter 2017. Casting Calls for this psychological thriller will be posted soon via Actors Access and Crew Calls on their facebook page and other industry pages. Stay tuned...

Hysterical Themed Promotional Photo Shoot for 4 Pies Productions

You know that pain you get in your cheeks when you have been smiling and laughing for way too long?  I have that going on right now!  I have bee working on some of the group images of the Ladies of 4 Pies Productions from our Decades themed promo shoot this past Saturday for most of my day today and I am dying!  I need a new word for Fun because Fun is just not a strong enough word to describe what our day was like together.  I know this is my job but it definetley does not feel like work when I spend time with these ladies.  I adore them so much and am at this moment trying to think up what we need to photograph next so we can do it again ASAP!  I am so excited to be involved in what they are doing.  This is going to be am amazing.  Here is another peek into the world of 4PP...  Enjoy!
