Looks like baby Haisley just couldn’t wait! She made her arrival two days before my birthday, and honestly — I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter early gift. At just 4 days old, she was a total dream to photograph — peacefully snoozing through the entire session (minus one quick break for a change and a snack, of course!).
It was extra special to incorporate a few meaningful touches from her daddy’s job as a police officer — a subtle but powerful reminder of the strength and love already wrapped around her.
Capturing this moment for a family I’ve known and loved for so many years was truly an honor. Welcome to the world, Haisley. You are already so incredibly loved.

Newborn Photoshoot - Meet Carter James

Seven years ago I did a Senior Portrait session for a very special young lady.  Today she introduced me to a very special little man.  To say that I love and admire this family would be such an understatement.  They are not just friends... they are family!  Congratulations Jay and Kaila and Kinchen Family on the newest addition to your family.  I already love him and can not wait for the many many photoshoots to come.  Here are just a couple of my favs from our morning!  Please meet 3 week old Carter James.  You can also see our maternity session here.  :)

My most recent session was this beautiful little princess and her two adorable big brothers.  I loved getting to work with them and we had so much fun.  Such sweet little loves!

My other very special photo shoot while we were visiting up North was these teeny tinny girl's Newborn session.  Sweet Emmy is my friend Vicki's beautiful 5 week old baby girl.  We had such a fun night!  So glad I could be home to meet her! ♡

Newborn Photographer - Davidson North Carolina

I first met this sweet family through Dancing Kids in Cornelius.  Miss Amiya (future big sister) was one of my adorable little dancers there.  I was thrilled when her beautiful mommy reached out to me to do her maternity and newborn portraits.  I had the pleasure of spending the morning with them yesterday photographing sweet Asher Junior.  This sweet little guy was the sleepiest, snuggliest, easiest newborn EVER.  I could not believe how cooperative and tolerant he was.  Big sister Amiya had made sure to keep me grounded and made sure to make me work for my sibling shots but she loves her baby brother so much and eventually could hold out no longer.  She went from "nope, not gonna do it"  to the most perfect little model.  Love this spunky little cutie.  Marjorie and Asher thank you so much for choosing me to capture these very special memories of your sweet family.  I am so in love with the images we captured and hope you will be too!  Cannot wait to show you the rest and to capture more and more as your adorable babies grow!

This next sneak peek is quite the contrast to the crazy set photography I have been posting recently!
This super squishy adorable perfect little newborn fellow is Carter.  This was my 1st time working with this sweet family and I am so happy they choose me for Carter's Newborn Pictures.  He tried his hardest to stay awake and see what was going on but eventually he could stand it no longer and was out like a champ.  What a wonderful tiny little model!  I can not wait to get to photograph him again, next time with the whole family!!

Newborn Photographer Charlotte NC

One of my adorable little models from the UPsides calendar just became a big sister.  I was so excited to get to meet 10 day old Wolfgang.  This little man absolutely did not want to go to sleep and miss anything but the harder the fight...  This little man gave it a truly valiant effort but in the end he finally gave in and was a dream to work with.  Not to mention how cute he is!  I am so happy with the images we were able to capture!
