This perfect little angel might look familiar....
I had the pleasure of being at the hospital to document the day of his birth just 6 days ago (you can see the sneak peek from his birth session by going back a bit on the blog)
I have been excitedly looking forward to getting to see him again (and snuggle him) today.  He did not disappoint!   He was the most perfect little baby model and I am beyond thrilled with the images we were able to capture today.  His mommy had some super fun and creative ideas that I am crazy about (one which is not in this sneak peek so as not to ruin the surprise)  ;)
My sweet little friend even awarded us with the elusive newborn smile not just once, but several times throughout our session!
Congratulations S and T!  I am so happy for you and am so glad that you chose me to capture these very special life moments for your new family!  I look forward to many wonderful years to come!

I would like to introduce you to some of our closest friends.  Luis and my husband Sergio have know each other since before High School!   They played football together back in Miami and were good friends.  Just after the arrival of their youngest son the R family left Miami and moved to Charlotte where Kelly and I quickly became friends.  Just recently they purchased their new home (to be closer to us I think.  LOL)  What better way to celebrate than with a long overdue fun Family photo shoot!  Congratulations you guys!  Love you!

I first met this adorable mommy and daddy to be back in July and we did our Maternity Photo Shoot soon after.   It was an amazing session in a beautiful local rock quarry! You can see a few sneak peeks from that session here.  After our Maternity Session I anxiously awaited the call...
While doing yard work Friday morning I received the text that I had been anxiously awaiting...   the text to let me know that labor had begun and baby Brighton was slowly but surely on his way!
Little man was a bit stubborn and the Dr. ended up having to perform a c-section.  I was not permitted in the OR this time but they did allow me to shoot through the nursery window and also enter the recovery room where mommy and daddy were able to formally meet their brand new son.  He is absolutely perfect and one of the cutest little things I have ever seen!  Since more family was arriving to meet the newest addition the next day mommy asked if I would return the next day to capture the 1st meetings.  I of course agreed, and am so glad to have been there for these precious moments!  I think one of my favorite images is of Brighton meeting his 8 month old cousin Elton.  They were so cute together!!!  Thank you H Family for allowing me to be a part of your special day!  It was truly amazing!  I am looking forward to our newborn shoot this week and hopefully some baby snuggles!  ;)
