Lake Norman Child and Family Photographer - Maternity session with sweet Family

I like to think that I have a very special relationship with the families of my baby planners.  I get to spend a lot of time with them during their child's 1st year and have been lucky to have really gotten to know some really wonderful sweet familes that I consider not just clients but good friends.  One such family is the family of my adorable little buddy Emma.  She was just three months old at our 1st photo shoot...

Now my friend has some BIG news...  She is going to be a BIG SISTER!!!
Having watched her from grow just a tiny baby girl, I can not believe she will soon be two!  I could not be happier for this sweet family and am so looking forward to meeting the newest addition once he or she arrives next month !  Below are a few more of my many favorites from our awesome Two Year/Family/Maternity Photo Shoot yesterday.

Davidson Family Photographer - Fun Family Memories

Miss Camille, the older of these two sweet sisters was one of my models last year for the 2013 Down Syndrome Awareness Calendar.  She was such a little firecracker with so much personality and so much fun!  I was thrilled when her mommy contacted me to do a family photo shoot.  We planned and planned before meeting this morning for our session.  Mommy told me that she really wanted images that reflected their family and who they were.  Anyone who knows my will tell you, this is exactly what I strive for!  I love capturing the moments that just happen not strictly the posed shots that we set up.  She also told me that this would be their very 1st professional family portrait.  I knew that we would have to really make something special and I think that we did!  Larina, It was truly a pleasure working with the four of you today!  I had a wonderful time and can not wait to share the rest of our images with you.  I am so excited at what we were able to capture!  The girls did an amazing job today!  I know you must be very proud of them!  :)

Huntersville Child Photographer - Back to School!

Meet my friend  Miss. Morgan.  I have had the pleasure of photographing her family since she was still in her mommy's belly.  Now she is four years old, a big sister, and headed back to school!  We had so much fun today marking this milestone with a back to school mini session in Huntersville.  As usual, Morgan rocked her shoot.  I love this girl!  I know she will have a great time at school.  Her teachers will love her!

Child Photographer in Lake Norman - A walk in the forest

Photographing subjects that are 4 years old and 17 months old is not the most easy task, but it sure is fun!  :)

I had the pleasure of photographing Miss Raegan for her Dance Pictures at DancinKids and was thrilled when her mommy contacted me to book a fall session with her and her adorable little brother Landon.  Mr. Landon gave us few small heart attacks with his daredevil antics but was as cute as cute can be while doing so, and as you can see Miss Raegan is a photographers dream with her sweet face and Shirley Temple Curls!

B Family, I had a wonderful time working with your  adorable little ones!  I am already looking forward to our next session, perhaps one with all four of you in it!  ;)  I hope you enjoy a this selection of a few of my favorites... we have LOTS more!  :)
