Waiting on Baby Girl
This morning I got to capture a few more beautiful moments of Kaila and James — the proud (and glowing!) mom and dad-to-be. They looked absolutely amazing, and you can just feel the love and excitement for the sweet little girl they’ll be welcoming so soon.
I’m still working on convincing them to name her Melody… not sure if it’s going to stick, but hey — a girl can try! Can’t wait to meet their newest little love and photograph this next beautiful chapter.

Three Generations | Sneak Peek
Yesterday’s session with Kaila, her amazing mom Melissa, and her two absolutely adorable kids, Karter and Kyler, was such a joy! These kinds of sessions fill my heart — three generations in one frame, all full of love, laughter, and connection.
Melissa is like a sister to me, and it was so special to capture this moment for her and her growing family. We truly had so much fun, and I have to give a shoutout to Karter and Kyler — they were so well-behaved and made the whole shoot such a breeze. I couldn’t stop smiling behind the camera.
This season of life is full of big emotions and beautiful change, and I’m so grateful to be the one to help preserve it through photographs.

Lake Norman Maternity Photographer - Babies and Bellies

Despite several obstacles thrown our way including fingers crushed in a garage door (mine) the night before our photo shoot and a very uncooperative mother nature we managed to make this day happen!  I do not usually shoot in the rain but it was so worth it!  I had so much fun with this absolutely adorable and sweet family of three (soon to be four) and can not wait to show them the rest of our awesome pictures from our Maternity session.  I also can not wait to meet their newest edition in a month or two when he or she decides to join us!  :)  Marjorie, Asher and Amiya I hope you enjoy this little teaser!  ;)

Maternity Portraits - Rock Hill S.C.

When the mommy of one of my adorable UPsides of Down Syndrome Calendar Models asked my about doing Maternity and Newborn Portraits I was thrilled!  In just a few short weeks my tiny friend Olivia will be a big sister and I could not be more excited for this sweet Family!  I am in love with the sweet Family and Maternity images we were able to capture last night and can not wait to head back to meet baby brother once he arrives!  Brit and Scott congratulations once again!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!  :)

Maternity and Newborn Portrait Photographer - Lake Norman North Carolina

I first this beautiful little girl at DancinKids in Cornelius where she absolutely rocked her Dance pictures..

...not long ago her mommy contacted me with some very exciting news.  She told me that my sweet little friend would be a big sister in June and that she wanted to arrange our maternity and newborn portraits.  I was thrilled!   The four of us had the best time playing and shooting in the botanical gardens.  Their baby girl will be joining such a loving amazing family with a super duper awesome big sister!  She is a lucky little girl indeed!  Thanks you S Family from the bottom of my heart for choosing me as your Family photographer.  I LOVED spending the evening with you last night and can not wait to meet your newest  princess!  Here is just an itty bitty peek at a few of my favorites...  We have sooooo many more and I look forward to showing them all to you!!!
