Generational Family photo shoot for Christmas

One of my very special SnookyFamilies had some extended family in town for from Texas for the holidays and wanted to use this time together to capture an extended family session. With two brand new babies recently added to the clan, the timing was perfect!  We met in Davidson on Christmas Eve and totally lucked out with the weather.  It was so beautiful!  Gotta love the sixty-degree weather in December.  Hooray North Carolina!  LOL.  I know I have said it at least a million times but I just think generational photoshoots are so very special.  I love shooting them and love knowing that I am helping these families create some very precious memories.  I had a great time with this crew and am beyond excited to show them all the great images we have.  Here are just a couple sneak peeks...

What do you do when you pass by a super cool location you have been wanting to use for years while lighting is absolute perfection and you just happen to have one of your two cutest offspring in the car with you as they assisted you at preschool that day and a puppy photo shoot after that.  Despite exhaustion, you just HAVE to stop and snap off a few quick shots.  Thank you for being such a sweet wonderful helper my Sammi.  I love you SO incredibly much!

Lake Norman Photographer - Five year old future model

I have no idea how in the world I am going to narrow this session down to a manageable amount of images.  There are SO many!  This little girl is just pure adorableness!  She is also spunky, funny, sweet and a bit wild.  As you can see the camera loves her and so do I!  Way to go little Ellie!  You are amazing!

Pet Photography Charlotte North Carolina

I was recently asked to photograph some adorable 3-week old puppies.  Um...  Yes Please! Their mama Tilly was abandoned when she was pregnant with her babies and rescued by the amazing folks at Long Trails to Happy Tails Dog Rescue.  Our 1st 2 sweet babes to get their sneak peek are Aspen and Ashe! They are lab/dachshund mixes.  They will not be ready for their Furever homes for another 4 weeks but applications are being accepted now.  Be sure to check back to see Ashe and Aspen's 6 siblings who will be posted soon!

Family Christmas Card Session - Concord North Carolina

This was only my 2nd session with this adorable family but I already adore them!  They needed some fun Family shots for their Christmas Cards so we decide to do our session by the giant Christmas Tree.  :). We didn't have long before the rain joined us but we made it!

Child and Family Photographer in Fort Mill

I am so very excited to share this sneak peek for this very special family that I absolutely adore! I have had the pleasure of photographing them since Jake was just an itty bitty newborn!  They are always SO much fun to hang out with and have the best attitudes.  It was pretty chilly on the morning of our session but my boys (and Andy and Karen too) were not phased and totally rocked it!  Karen totally nailed the outfits too!  I absolutely love the vintage look she put together.  I am pretty sure I actually squealed with excitement when I saw them!  SO perfect!  Love you guys and can't wait until next time!!!!  xoxo

Lake Norman Family Photographer

Allow me to introduce one of my most favorite families.  I first met them through a local dance studio and was soon after hired to do maternity and newborn photos for their second child.  I was beyond thrilled when they chose to also do the "my 1st-year baby plan"  allowing me to see them every 3 months and see there sweet little one grow so quickly in her 1st year.  Now I get to see them at least once a year and could not love them more.  Meeting them for a photoshoot is really getting to hang out with good friends AND take pictures of some super adorable kiddos.  #superfundayforme I am so grateful that they have chosen me and already look forward to all our future sessions.  You guys are amazing!  xoxo
