As some of you know I am a volunteer Photographer for Inspiration through Art (formerly known as The littlest Hero Project) which pairs children with disabilities with local Photographers. I have been blessed to have had the privilege of meeting three very special little people through this program, Arden, Kylee & Colin. These sweet sweet babies had my heart the instant that I met them and it was such a joy for me to get to work with them!
These babies were born into wonderful loving homes to wonderful parents who love them with all their hearts but sadly there are many children with Down Syndrome who have not been so lucky. In Eastern Europe babies born with Down Syndrome are deemed unacceptable at Birth and discarded into overcrowded understaffed orphanages.
Today I learned about an amazing woman named Patti who is determined to help these children.
