Lake Norman Family Photographer - {John}

I last saw this adorable little fellow at his six month session,  I can not believe he is now almost a year and a half old! Despite some mean old teeth bothering my sweet little friend he was as happy as clam for us and did an amazing job getting his pictures made.  I think his favorite part of the session hands down was anytime he was set down and allowed to run free.  Sara and Tom , it was such a pleasure to get to work with your beautiful family again!  I hope that you enjoy your sneak Peek!

Tega Cay S.C. Baby Photographer - {Chunky Monkey}

Those of you who know me and/or visit my blog regularly know that I absolutely adore my baby planner babies and their families or as I like to call them SnookyBabies and SnookyFamilies.  Getting to visit and photograph these little sweeties every three months  really gives me the opportunity to get to know them and that is truly a highlight of what I get to do as a photographer.  Sweet Baby Jake is one my sweet SnookyBabies.  We had an amazing newborn session (click here to see a few images from that session) and I was so looking forward to getting to see him the rest of his family.  Although we caught our little man at his sleepy time he still nailed his three moth photo session.  Big Brother Cole who is just recovering from a little cold also performed like a little champ!  I love these boys!  :)  Karen, I am already looking forward to our 6 months session!!!  :)

Davidson Family Portraits - {Two Princesses}

Mooresville Family Photographer - Lil Cowgirl

Next up this morning was an adorable sassy cowgirl that I first met at DancinKids in Cornelius for her Dance pictures.  She brought along mommy and daddy and we were able to capture some great family portraits.  L Family, I had so much fun working with the three of you today!  I am so thrilled to have met you and already can not wait for next time!!!

Lake Norman Child Photographer - {Sweet Caroline}

The weekend before last our mini sessions were rained out so we had to postpone them until today. Mother Nature was much kinder and treated us to an absolutely perfect day! My first little model of the morning was Miss Caroline. Mommy warned me in advance that she typically turns shy in front of the camera until she warms up, but as our little ones just love to do she decided to surprise us by turning on the charm right from the start. This beautiful baby girl did am amazing job! Heather, it was an absolute pleasure to finally meet you and your sweet little princess!

 

Gender Reveal Portrait Session - Pink or Blue and Maddie Boo

About two years ago I met the sweetest couple ever and their adorable baby girl Maddie.  The instant we met I could tell what wonderful kind people they were and how head over heels they were in love with their baby girl and each with other.  I was thrilled when they decided to sign up for my baby's 1st year plan and I was able to photograph sweet Maddie every three months.  The year flew by and before we knew it Maddie was smashing her 1st birthday cake and turning from a baby into a beautiful little girl.  More time passed and I learned that Alyssa and Jason were expecting their second child.  I was so happy for them that I actually cried when i read the news.  I contacted Alyssa to congratulate her and see if she would be interested in a Gender Reveal Session,  a relatively new but super fun concept that is catching on quickly in the photography world.  After explaining what in the word I was talking about my sweet friends were excitedly on board.  I spoke to their ultrasound tech on Thursday and was as giddy and nervous as if i were receiving my own news when she said "okay... are you ready to hear?"  When the four of us met this morning we were practically jumping up and down with excitement.  Okay, Jason and I actually did, Alyssa smartly did not jostle baby and Maddie just thought we were all crazy. LOL   I tortured them just a bit with just a few images before we opened the box and then the big moment finally arrived.  I am trilled and honored to have been a part of this magical moment for this amazing family.  The expressions on their faces were worth a million bucks and I am still smiling as I type the longest sneak peak intro ever.  Tons of hugs, laughs and smiles later we parted ways so they could bask in their happy news.
